The last shoe of 2010, found two days after Christmas. Right shoe, brown, near the station, laces tied. Laces tied is worth summat — most of what I find is laces gone or laces trailing, and a tied lace got itself noted even in the one-line days.
No photograph. I remember it being cold, but I'd remember any 27th of December being cold, so that's not evidence. We had family stopping with us that Christmas and I believe the walk to Marsden were partly on account of that, though the notebook, quite rightly, doesn't cover domestic arrangements.
