Blackmoorfoot, north side. Left boot, black, on the reservoir path. The notebook says the photograph didn't come out, which were the way of most of them then.
I do remember the boot sitting further from the water than you'd expect, though the notebook doesn't back me up on that, so take it as memory rather than record. It weren't the last shoe Blackmoorfoot give me, either. There were a blue trainer there as recent as this spring gone.
