The entry reads: left plimsoll, black, towpath again. "Again" because number five were the same stretch of canal back in February. Two shoes in one year off the Slaithwaite towpath weren't a pattern, and I'm careful about calling things patterns, but it did teach me that canals repay regular walking.
No photograph mentioned. No conditions — it were July, so it'll have been one thing or another. I can't tell you owt about the plimsoll beyond what's written. Black, left, there. Sometimes that's the whole of it.
